Scope and responsible use
Terms of use
These pages are general editorial material, not a timetable, ticket, platform assignment, access permit or railway safety instruction.
Last updated: 10 August 2026.
Editorial purpose
Platform Egypt is an independent English-language journal about station architecture, movement and considerate travel preparation. It is not Egypt National Railways, a station operator, booking agent, ticket seller, tour company, security service or transport authority.
No operational service
The site does not sell tickets, confirm bookings, quote current fares, provide live schedules or assign platforms. Photographs do not establish current entrances, signs, access or rolling stock. Confirm all operational details through responsible current sources and follow station instructions.
No permission or safety assessment
Editorial descriptions do not permit entry to platforms, tracks, controlled areas or photography-restricted spaces. The site does not inspect stations, trains or passenger arrangements. Remain within current public boundaries and ask responsible personnel when uncertain.
Accuracy and availability
Reasonable care is taken to distinguish historical evidence from current decisions and to credit sources. Information can still become incomplete or outdated, and pages may be corrected, moved or withdrawn. No guarantee is made that a page is suitable for a particular journey.
Images and reuse
The editorial text may not be republished as another publisher’s original work. Photographs carry separate creator and Creative Commons terms beside their use and on the sources page. Reusers must consult each original file page and comply with its licence.
External sites
Links help readers reach responsible information and trace image licences. They do not imply sponsorship or control. External publishers remain responsible for their own content, availability and transactions.
Acceptable use
Visitors may read and link to public pages for lawful purposes. They must not misrepresent affiliation, use the journal as permission to enter controlled areas, interfere with service or remove attribution contrary to an image licence.
